FAQ

What is the difference between exclusive licensing and non-exclusive licensing?

Exclusive licensing transfers ownership of the copyright of your original content to FNF Entertainment / The Adrenaline Dealer. This allows us to post the video across our profiles and pages. This also allows us to use the tools at our disposal, including a full copyright staff and a dedicated enforcement team to ensure that your video appears only on the channels/pages that you ask us to whitelist, as well as our channels.

When you license a video to FNF Entertainment / The Adrenaline Dealer, we agree to provide valid, clickable links to your original channels, profiles, or pages within the limitations of the platform it is posted to. We also enforce this copyright – so channels that take content without permission, without credit, and without compensation will no longer be able to take your content and profit from it, grow their channels, and take away from the amount of views and subscribers that you receive without giving you credit or even asking your permission.

Many channels and pages will use your content without asking, without getting permission, and without compensating you, and will claim “fair use” exemptions because they added some meme music over it. By licensing to The Adrenaline Dealer and FNF Entertainment, we are the bodyguards that guard your copyright. We will enforce claims against channels that you do not ask us to whitelist. This means that the only place your content can be seen is on YOUR channel, or OUR channel – with a valid clickable link that leads back to YOUR channel. This is an enormous benefit for exposure and growth of your pages and channels.

Do I get these same benefits with non-exclusive licensing?

Yes, and no. We will always credit original owners within the limitations of the platform. We always ensure proper permission from the original owner before posting. If you decide to provide a video with non-exclusive licensing permissions, this means that we can repost your video across our pages and channels, and that we will credit your channels and pages within the limitations of the platform – but we cannot enforce the copyright against bad actors that take your video without your permission and without crediting you. So you receive some benefits, in the form of exposure and proper accreditation, but you do not receive the benefit of having your content protected from bad actors.

How do I license content to FNF Entertainment?

You can click the “submit a video” link above on this page. You can indicate if you are interested in exclusive licensing in that form, and you can upload your content that you want to see used on FNF Entertainment / The Adrenaline Dealer. We will review the submission, and if we feel that exclusive licensing is a good option, we will reach out to you from licensing@theadrenalinedealer.com . Alternatively, you can email submissions to licensing@theadrenalinedealer.com . Things that make it more likely for your content to be licensed and protected are having raw, full length files, whether 360 cam or action cam, without watermarks or additional editing, preferably in 16:9 widescreen format.
